Magdalena

In a small candlelit atelier in Slovakia, Magdalena creates dolls that are closer to sculpture than to toys. Each piece begins as a sketch and ends hundreds of hours later as a one-of-a-kind character with her own story.

Faces are sculpted and painted by hand. Gowns are sewn from silk, velvet and lace, finished with gold thread and hand-set beads. Nothing is mass produced, nothing is repeated.

These dolls are made for collectors — for people who understand that true luxury is time, patience and a human hand.
